Bio PicBorn and raised in Canberra, Australia, Christian de Looper has been interested in music his whole life. He has worked in studios with a  range of music-related technologies, including large and small format consoles, Pro Tools, Reason, Reaper, Logic, and more. Christian is the owner and head editor for a music review website called AllThingsGear.com, which aims to provide up to date and informative reviews about all the most recent music gear. He has also worked for a number of prominent technology websites, including TechRadar and Tech Times, in which he writes in depth news and reviews on all the latest technology.

Christian began his interest in playing music at the age of only 11 years old. His first instrument was the drum kit, which he picked up from his father. At the age of 14, he moved to Paris, France, with his family, there being introduced to a much wider variety of music genres and picking up more instruments, including the guitar and bass. This multi-instrumentalism would go on to help Christian extensively in the studio. Here he also first explored music production, recording an EP with his own band, The Confessions, as well as producing a number of other bands in the Paris area. This EP introduced Christian to larger scale musical projects.

After finishing school, Christian moved to the twin cities area, attending McNally Smith College of Music for his Bachelor of Science in Music Technology. At McNally Smith he began working with a large variety of artists, including Kalee Joy, Michelle Whalen, Emily Black, and more.

During this time Christian also interned at The Hideaway studio in Minneapolis under the direction of Joe Mabbott, who has worked with the likes of Snoop Dogg, Doomtree, Brother Ali, Atmosphere, P.O.S. and many more. Christian spent this time assisting in various recording and mixing sessions, gaining invaluable knowledge and connections in the Twin Cities music industry.

Christian strives to do the best he can at everything he does and the most important way for him to do this is through the music that he produces.
