MY CLIENTS

MY STORY

Born and raised in Canberra, Australia, Christian de Looper developed an interest in tech, music, and the intersection of the two, from an early age.

Christian started playing the drums at the age of 11, three years before moving to Paris, France, after his father scored a job there. Soon, Christian also began playing guitar, and started developing an interest in recording and music production. After graduating high school with his International Baccalaureate, Christian moved to St. Paul, Minnesota, to pursue his passion for music, and eventually graduated from McNally Smith College of Music with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Technology.

It was during his time at college that Christian dove head-first into his other passion — gadgets. Unable to drive to a job without a driver’s license, but still in need of some spare cash, Christian began writing for small tech blogs. Within a few years, he had scored writing gigs at a number of larger tech publications, including Digital Trends, TechRadar, and more.

After graduating from college, Christian briefly lived in Los Angeles, but soon moved to Santa Cruz, California, following his long-time partner and now-wife Maria. Christian has lived in the Bay Area since 2016, and can now be found madly writing about all the latest and greatest tech, or hanging out with his wife, daughter, and cat.
